Sun-cured tobacco is dried in direct sunlight. The color of the dried leaves ranges from light brown to dark brown. Sun-cured tobacco is packaged in loose leaf or hand-stripped form and is mainly used for cigarette blends and cigar fillers. Sun-cured tobacco is used for both domestic and export purposes. In Indonesia, Sun-Cured (SC) tobacco is produced in Madura, Paiton, Weleri, Mranggen, Temanggung, Kedu, Muntilan, Magetan, Bojonegoro, Jombang, Mojokerto, Jember, and Lumajang.
