Sun Cured Tobacco
Sun-Cured tobacco is dried in direct sunlight. The color of the dried leaves is light brown to dark brown. SC is packaged in loose leaf or hand stripped form and is mainly used for cigarette mixtures and cigar fillings. SC is used for domestic and export needs. In Indonesia, Sun-Cured (SC) tobacco is produced in Madura, Paiton, Weleri, Mranggen, Temanggung, Kedu, Muntilan, Magetan, Bojonegoro, Jombang, Mojokerto, Jember and Lumajang.
