Flue Cured Virginia

   Flue-cured tobacco, named after the US state where it was first cultivated. It is also called 'bright tobacco' because its color changes to yellow or orange during the curing process. This tobacco grows best in subtropical regions with light rainfall, such as Georgia, Virginia, and the Carolinas in the United States, Southern Brazil, and Zimbabwe. FCV is packaged in tipped and threshed form. In Indonesia, Flue-Cured Virginia (FCV) tobacco is produced in Lombok.
